"They met day
after day, in theTemple courts (celebration)
and fromhouse to house (small groups)..." Acts 5:42
"Let us consider
how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together ... but let us encourage one another..."
Heb. 10:24-25
Small Groups are the back-bone of the church. All ministry
and fellowship is developed around the Small Group. Every member needs to be
belong to a Small Group!
What did
the first home groups do in the Book of Acts?
They were
Purpose Driven!
"They devoted
themselves to the apostles’ teaching
(maturity)
and to the fellowship
(membership),
to the breaking of bread and to prayer... they gave to
anyone as he had need
(ministry)...
They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere
hearts, praising God
(magnification)
and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their
number daily
(mission) those who
were being saved."
Acts 2:42-47
All 5
Purposes are filled in every Small Group!
We
put the Diamond in the center of every group!
